SWHAP Annual Conference 2009

SWHAP Annual Conference 2009 took place in Johannesburg, South Africa on 15-16 October 2009. The theme for this Conference was Achieving Behaviour Change. The Conference presented an opportunity to discuss and exchange experiences on not only how to promote information about HIV and AIDS, but also on how to ensure that this knowledge is translated into a change of behaviour. To realize this, aspects relating to culture, gender and the latest findings on promoting behaviour change were discussed. A report from the conference is available here.
