SWHAP initiated at Raffia Bags Mozambique

Raffia Bags Mozambique started to implement the HIV/AIDS Workplace Programme with management sensitization in the end of 2009. In the workshop organized on 26-27 January 2010, the steering committee together with a service provider developed a draft policy on HIV and AIDS. The committee is also developing a programme to be rolled-out this year that will include KAPB survey, awareness to all staff and Voluntary Counseling and Testing as well as training of peer educators. The programme is mentored by Raffia’s partner companies in Tanzania and Kenya. Photo
